What Currency Will I Need?

You do not need to take cash for the cruise itself as all onboard purchases are charged to your onboard account. During all ports of call visits you may need small amounts of local currency, which can be exchanged at the pursers desk.

What Do I Wear?

All cruise companies have a very relaxed daytime dress code although most companies do expect smart/casual attire in the dining areas. Different dress codes apply depending on which cruise company you decide to travel with. Formal evenings require a dark or tuxedo suit for men and evening dress for the ladies. Informal evenings jacket and tie for men and cocktail dresses for woman. Casual evenings require smart/casual dress. What Do I Not Need To Take With Me?

All cruise companies will provide their passengers with beach towels and hairdryers. If you happen to forget some essentials most cruise ships will have a shop selling anything from toothbrushes to paracetamols.

Do I Need an Adaptor?

Most cruise ships require for you to take an adaptor as plug sockets do vary from ship to ship, surprisingly even some of the larger ships catering for British guests do not have British voltage standard sockets.

Are Transfers Included?

Some of our special offers include a private or coach transfer from ship to airport or hotel. However these offers are always subject to availability and are only valid for the duration of the promotion. We will always be happy to advise you on all aspects of your travel requirements.

What Is and Is Not Included In My Cruise Price?

All meals and entertainment on board your cruise ship are included. Most cruise companies charge for alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Additional costs include gratuities and any excursion you may wish to book.

Are There Laundry Facilities Onboard?

Full laundry and dry cleaning services are available onboard all ships and will be billed to your onboard account. Most ships also have complimentary self service washers, dryers and irons at your disposal.

Are There Medical Facilities Onboard?

All ships have the services of a doctor and a medical team available should you require some medical assistance.

What Can I Do Onboard?

Each evening you will receive a full program of activities for the following day. The larger ships do offer a greater variety of activities and entertainment. Ranging from broadway style shows and spa treatments to rock climbing !!

Is Cruising for Everyone?

Yes cruising is for everyone, young, old, families, disabled passengers or solo guests.
