YOUR PROTECTION – The International Cruise Centre is a trading name for Kelvin Travel Ltd, members of the Assosication of British Travel Agents (membership number E0634). Holidays involving flights booked by us are independently booked from Norwegian Cruise Line. Although the golf cruises have been organized with the full support and cooperation of Norwegian Cruise Line the golf arrangements are the sole responsibility of The International Cruise Centre. Return transfers to the golf courses, payment of green fees, allocated tee-off times, golf competitions and golf instruction are the responsibility of The International Cruise Centre. In the unlikely event that the Norwegian Gem arrives late in port it may not be possible to continue with the golf day as planned. This depends on the time available at that destination and available tee-off times. If the golf day is cancelled the green fees are non refundable. BOOKING BY PHONE – Please note that your credit/debit card details will be taken and kept as security until final payment has been made, ensuring your commitment to the booking. Should you cancel your holiday the terms and conditions of the separate suppliers will apply. In addition an administration fee of £75 per person will be charged. Your final balance can be paid by cheque, bank transfer, debit card or credit card (2% process charge will apply). CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING, DEPOSIT AND FULL PAYMENT – The holiday contract is between the party leader and The International Cruise Centre. The contract commences when we have sent your Confirmation of Booking Invoice. A deposit payment of 20% is payable at time of booking. Changes by you after the deposit is paid are subject to charges. (Please see cancellations and changes by you). The final balance must be paid no later than ten weeks before the start of your holiday. If your departure date is within ten weeks of the date of booking, the full balance will be requested. As flights have been booked independently, 100% of the flight costs will be part of your deposit payment. This is non refundable should you cancel your holiday. YOUR HOLIDAY ITINERARY – Your holiday itinerary is as stated on your Confirmation of Booking Invoice. The tee times and golf courses are not stated on this Confirmation. FLIGHTS – Please ensure you are familiar with the terms and conditions of your airline. If you require assistance obtaining this information please do not hesitate to contact us. DELAYS – We cannot accept responsibility for any delays in departure and any subsequent costs as a result of the delay. In the case of any delay we will endeavor for you to join the ship at the first available opportunity. GOLF CLUB CARRIAGE - Most airlines now make a charge for the carriage of golf clubs, and this varies depending on the airline. Some airlines will only accept payment for golf clubs on arrival at the check in desk and we will inform you of this when booking your flights. However, some airlines require payment for golf clubs at the time of booking and this will be included in your flight costs. If your luggage or golf clubs exceed the airlines limit you will be charged per kg at the check in desk. CHANGES AND CANCELLATION BY US – Should there be any changes to your itinerary between our discussion with you and the time we send your Confirmation of Booking Invoice, we will inform you and ask for your preferred plan of action. We will also contact you should there be any changes to your itinerary between your confirmation and the sending of your tickets/vouchers. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel or drastically change your itinerary, you will be entitled to a full refund or you will be offered a replacement holiday of at least equal value. Should force majeure lead to a drastic change to your holiday, we will do our best to offer a suitable alternative. TRAVEL INSURANCE – The International Cruise Centre strongly recommends you undertake travel insurance. Some insurance companies may consider the game of golf as a dangerous sport and you should mention your participation when obtaining a quotation. You should also ensure that your golf equipment is covered in the policy. Norwegian Cruise Lines and The International Cruise Centre are not responsible for loss or damage to any golf equipment. BUGGIES – Buggies are not included in the cost, unless otherwise stated, and are payable locally. Buggies are compulsory at some golf courses during stipulated times and the cost of these is not included in the green fee. GREEN FEES/START TIMES – If your confirmed golf club cancel your reservation or change your tee time we will try to find a suitable alternative. You will be charged or refunded for any difference in the original cost. Such changes do not entitle you to cancel a holiday that is part of a package. We cannot be held responsible for the actual playing conditions of the golf courses, whether caused by maintenance or weather conditions. If we are advised, we will pass maintenance information to you. Golf course closure due to weather conditions is at the discretion of the golf club. Most golf clubs will offer a full refund should they decide to close the course. Golf clubs reserve the right to make up matches to four balls. HANDICAP CERTIFICATES - We will pass your handicap details to the golf courses at the time of booking and in some circumstances certificates must be produced prior to play. We recommend you take a certificate with you regardless as some golf clubs can change their rules. TICKETS AND VOUCHERS – We will send your tickets and vouchers approximately two weeks prior to your departure (apart from late bookings). The pack will contain all the details to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. PASSPORTS AND HEALTH REGULATIONS - A passport is necessary to travel to all European countries. Most European countries enjoy the same level of medical service as Great Britain. It is advisable to obtain from your local DHSS office a copy of the booklet Protect Your Health Abroad and the form E111 for OUR DESCRIPTIONS – The descriptions of the regions, hotels, courses and other aspects of the holidays are based on opinions gained on visits to them and on the opinions of official bodies and guides. We are not always able to exercise control over all the components of the holiday arrangements and it is possible that an advertised amenity be withdrawn or changed due to various reasons such as water conservation, renovation work, etc. We will advise you if we become aware of a major change but we cannot accept liability for loss, damage or inconvenience in such circumstances. SPECIAL REQUESTS – We will do our best to provide for your special requests. However, please do not accept this as a guarantee of provision but as a guarantee of our endeavour. LOCAL TIMES – All times stated on the Confirmation of Booking are local. |
